"Ingredients:
- 1 cup of natural peanut butter
- 2 cups of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
Directions:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey or maple syrup. Microwave for about 30 seconds until they are easy to mix together.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the oats and shredded coconut.
3. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the oats and coconut, stirring well to combine. If using, stir in the chocolate chips.
4. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Press the mixture into the dish, making sure it is evenly spread.
5. Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
6. Once set, remove the mixture from the dish and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
