- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with your fingers.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
