"Ingredients:

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 

- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 

- 2 large eggs 

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 

- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar 

- 1 teaspoon baking soda 

- 1/4 teaspoon salt 

- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 

- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 


Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.

5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.

6. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.

7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.

8. Place dough balls on prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.

9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are set and tops are slightly cracked.

10. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
