"Ingredients:

- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup packed brown sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup cocoa powder

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chunks


Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

5. Stir in chocolate chunks.

6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.

7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set but centers are still soft.

8. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
