"Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)
Directions:
1. In a jar or bowl, combine the rolled oats and almond milk. Give them a good stir to ensure that the oats are fully immersed in the milk.
2. Add the chia seeds into the mixture, followed by the almond butter. Stir well to combine everything.
3. Lastly, add in the fresh blueberries and sweetener (if using), and stir again.
4. Cover the jar or bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the fridge overnight, or for at least 6 hours.
5. In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a splash more almond milk.
6. Top with sliced almonds before serving, if desired. Enjoy your Blueberry Almond Butter Overnight Oats as is, or warm it up in the microwave if you prefer it hot.
Cooking Time: No cooking required, but needs to be refrigerated for at least 6 hours or overnight.
