"Ingredients:


- 1 cup of rolled oats

- 2 cups of milk (any type)

- 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup

- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon of salt

- 1 cup of mixed fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)

- Optional toppings: additional maple syrup, cinnamon, and/or milk


Directions:


1. In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over medium heat.

2. Stir in the oats, reducing the heat to low.

3. Cook the oats, stirring occasionally, for 10-20 minutes, until the oats are your desired level of creaminess.

4. Stir in the maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and salt.

5. Divide the oatmeal between two bowls. Top with the fresh berries and any additional toppings, if desired.
