"Ingredients:

1. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2. 1 cup granulated sugar

3. 1 cup packed brown sugar

4. 2 large eggs

5. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

6. 3 cups all-purpose flour

7. 1 teaspoon baking soda

8. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

9. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, plus extra for sprinkling

10. 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture and mix well.

4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

5. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle each cookie with a pinch of sea salt.

6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
