"Ingredients:

- 6 large egg yolks

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup mascarpone cheese

- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

- 2 cups brewed espresso, cooled

- 1/2 cup coffee liqueur (optional)

- 24-30 ladyfinger cookies

- Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions:

1. In a heatproof bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar. Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water and whisk constantly until the mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth. Gradually add the egg yolk mixture and mix until well combined.

3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.

4. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso and coffee liqueur. Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the espresso mixture, making sure not to soak them too much.

5. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and remaining mascarpone mixture.

6. Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

7. Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
