FRIED RICOTTA

 

Nathalie Williams Recipe

Ingredients 

1/2 pound macaroons

1 pound ricotta

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 

2 eggs 

1 egg lightly beaten 

1 cup bread crumbs 

1 cup butter 

Direction

Mash macaroons very fine, add ricotta, cinnamon and eggs and mix well. Shape into small halls, dip into beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and fry in hot butter until golden. Serves 6.
